What file format are the models for the mechs using, as well as other objects in the game?

This has fixed the issue for most maps.

The bots are working pretty well now too. Only issue I have with them as they like to fire the lasers weither or not they have line-of-site or not.

I'm getting a lot of messages on the console like this.

It starts at "Processing 1"... and keeps going. This starts when I click on "Host". I have to "kill -9 coldest" to get it to close. I've tried doing a git clone into a new directory and deleted the ~/.coldest directory and had the same problem. I've compiled it on 2 systems Running Ubuntu/Lubuntu 11.10, one with an Intel Video card (laptop) and one with an NVidia 9500 (desktop).

Any suggestions?

Texturing is hard, but for play testing, the texture could be just a solid color.
Maybe use it to replace the teapot in the editor, from what I can tell, isn't textured either.

Head bobbing, in my opinion, should only be in first person view. I wouldn't be too opposed to the aim moving while moving in first person, as it would make it more realistic.

I've got initial joystick support in the latest git version. I don't have my joystick here, so I still need to test it. I'll add back in my keyboard controls into it sometime this week. The files are on 2 separate PCs.

I've started working on adding keyboard support for the mouse movements. I'm not really a C/C++ & SDL dev so it's taking me a little time to figure stuff out. I've got the view switching working and the beginnings of rotating and looking up & down.

Is it possible to add head bobbing to the First Person view? This would make it feel more realistic in my opinion.
Course some people might not like that and it should have an option to disable it.

If there's more in game keyboard support, joystick support isn't a big deal. I can use a joystick-to-keyboard program suck as joy-to-key or qjoypad to map movement to keypresses.

I thought about the camo making the mechs hard to see as well, but so far I haven't seen any problems. I will be adding other touches to break up the skin that would help any possible camouflaging problems.

I've made some changes to the Mech skins. So far they're simple changes and I do have plans on making more. I'd be willing to share them if anyone is interested.





I plan on doing some (more) work on the GUI as well. Using XML file for the GUI makes things really easy to change.
